Galaxy S6 & Co: This Samsung devices getting Android 6.0 soon
While Samsung prepared for the presentation of the new Galaxy S7 at the MWC in February, the "old" devices will not forget. The Korean manufacturer is planning an update to Android 6.0 marshmallow for various smartphones from the Galaxy series.

That Samsung for some time 6.0 Marshmallow working on an update to Android, is known. Now there is also apparently a firm timetable, for which devices this update should appear when reports SamMobile and refers to the website SamsungViet. Among the devices that are to benefit from the new software include the Galaxy S6 Trio and the Galaxy Note devices.

Android 6.0 marshmallow for the following devices
A total of eleven older Samsung devices will receive Android 6.0 on marshmallow in the first quarter 2016 update. Here are the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note 4 Duos, Galaxy Note Edge, the Galaxy S6 Edge +, the Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 duo, the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Neo and the Galaxy S5 LTE-A. In addition, tablets like the Galaxy Tab A, the Galaxy Tab 9.7 S2 or the Galaxy Tab will be S2 8.0 equipped with the update - but probably only in the second quarter of next year.

As always, such information is of course to enjoy with caution, because officially nothing has been announced. Sure you can only be, if the update to Android 6.0 marshmallow for a device was actually published, because even at the last minute can change something. But some signs suggest that movement has come into the Samsung updates.
