After Snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp, the Facebook Messenger now has a Stories function. Facebook calls the feature "Messenger Day", the ingredients are however old-tried. Users can use images, videos, and other gimmicks for status. The Stories feature comes with the latest software update on iPhones and Android smartphones.
Facebook has officially announced its new feature "Messenger Day", after first reports already pointed out last fall on the function. Users of the app can set a status and visualize it with photos, videos and other effects - a feature that once made Snapchat with Stories really salonable. There is no restriction on the number of pictures, since they only last 24 hours. The status can be shared with all friends or with selected contacts.
The new status is so far only for the Facebook Messenger intended, but not for the Facebook app itself. Whether this will follow a later date remains to be seen.

If the Facebook Messenger software is up to date, the feature can be reached after launching the app via the camera button. After recording an image or video, the work can be refined with effects, but an Emoji button is available. Whether drawing, texts or stickers - the creativity is almost unlimited. The result can then be stored in the Day area and shared with other friends. Even content from chats can easily be transferred to the new area. The new status is so far only for the Facebook Messenger intended, but not for the Facebook app itself.
