Samsung on the MWC 2017: No Galaxy S8, but Galaxy Tab S3

The Galaxy S8 will not debut on the MWC 2017, but very likely the Galaxy Tab S3. Samsung has published a teaser for the press conference on 26 February, showing a small outline of the tablet.

Samsung's new flagship smartphone will not disappoint Samsung this year on the MWC 2017, but that does not mean that the manufacturer of the important mobile communications fair in Barcelona will be left out. Thus, on Wednesday, Samsung posted an invitation to his press conference on 26 February. The silhouette of a tablet, probably the Galaxy Tab S3, is recognizable. The only visible detail is the fingerprint sensor, which is also placed in the same place on the Galaxy Tab S2.

According to rumors, the Galaxy Tab S3 is to have an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 9.7 inches. Inside the model, the Snapdragon 820 is expected to do its job, with memory 4 GB should be aside. While the main camera pictures with 16 megapixels is supposed to snap, the cam on the front pictures with 5 MP allow. The metal housing should be as 5.6 millimeters thick as in the predecessor. It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S3 is delivered with preinstalled Android 7.0 nougat. The tablet is to be available in addition to the WLAN version also in a mobile radio variant.

The Samsung event takes place on February 26 at 7 pm German time and can be followed online via Livestream. Whether Samsung will introduce more products on the MWC 2017 remains to be seen.
