iOS 9.3.1: update fixes link Bug

Apple released iOS 9.3.1 a bug fixing update: With the latest software, links should be opened again properly in Safari and Apps. Several users complained previously propagated by crashes when clicking links in apps.

Just last week, Apple released iOS 9.3: Now already follows the first bug fixing update in the form of iOS 9.3.1. Thus the US company responds relatively quickly after the link-bug was publicized. The problem: Sometimes it happens that a the clicked link, whether, resulting in Safari or other apps to crash. The applications to stop responding and simply refuse their service.

After updating to iOS 9.3.1 this misconduct should no longer occur, Apple writes in his Changelog. What exactly caused the crash, however, is not yet clear. As source of error the Universal Links feature comes into question - here are mainly the common credentials mentioned, which are shared by the apps. In particular, large deep links to very low subpages of a website this erroneous reaction can trigger apparently.

Link bug in iOS 9.3 is not the only error

At the iPhone SE keynote last week, Apple introduced its comprehensive update iOS 9.3 available for download. Although the software brought some new features and performance improvements, users complained shortly after the release of Firmware propagated about bugs. Particularly affected were reportedly owners of older iPads, which could not start due to an activation lock their tablet.
