The missing App Drawer at LG G5 is no longer a problem. The manufacturer supplies this to a free update. Users can now decide whether they want to use the modular smartphone with or without the Drawer.

The LG G5 is now one of the best smartphones on the market and let's not much room to complain in the TURN ON test. One point that experienced Android users but annoy some, is the lack of App Drawer. However, this seems to be the manufacturer now nachzuliefern as Droid Life reported.

  • App Drawer comes via update

The actual user interface of the LG G5 named UX 5.0 remains untouched and is only extended to the App Drawer. Users always have the choice whether they want to use their G5 with or without App Drawer, and are subject to change this setting. In fact, there was a fix for our review unit of the LG G5 on Thursday morning directly ready. If you want to install the App Drawer for his device, has to go to the "Settings" and then the folder path "General> About Phone> Update Center> App updates" follow. There then was a new update called "Home & AppSchublade" ready for free download.

  • Users can choose whether they want the Drawer

After downloading the smartphone will automatically ask if the user wants to keep the old user interface called "Home" or want to switch to the new version of "Home & AppSchublade". As mentioned before, the only difference between the two versions in the App Drawer itself. All in all a pretty good decision of LG, not completely to dispense with the App Drawer, but these offer at least optional. After all, there are many smartphone users who do not like clutter your home screen with apps.
