Galaxy Note 6: Alleged Benchmark causes confusion

The rumor mill for Samsung Galaxy Note 6 boils over. Meanwhile, a first benchmark has surfaced - which is but apparently is a fake. Interesting are the details mentioned there anyway.

With the Galaxy Note 6 Samsung has a second hot smartphone iron in 2016 in the fire. Currently the phablet tingelt briskly through the rumor mill, the current leaks rather likely cause confusion. In a screenshot at PhoneArena, which allegedly shows a benchmark test of CPU-Z, the unit is currently listed namely with an Exynos 8890 processor.

The benchmark is obviously a fake
In addition to the processor of this reveals a few more alleged details as 6 GB of RAM and a 5.77 inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The authors of PhoneArena even go in the

screenshot now a fake from. But even if it should be a forgery, so sound the mentioned data very probable.

Even in earlier rumors a memory of rich 6GB of RAM has been suggested for the Galaxy Note 6 already and the display size of 5.77 inches has been named by several sources. Unclear, however, is still the processor question. The Exynos 8890 sounds but after a very likely candidate, after all, does this also in the European version of the Galaxy S7 used. Alternatively, however, could put Samsung on the Snapdragon 820, which is installed in HTC 10 or the LG G5. Leistungstechnisch are both on a very good level. A third option would be the use of the Snapdragon 823, which is the intended act 820 an evolution.

Waterproof with giant battery?
It remains unclear whether the other details that calls PhoneArena in his article are correct. And so the design of the Galaxy Note 6 is clearly geared to that of the Galaxy S7 - which is at least realistic. Furthermore, a 3700 mAh battery and a waterproof case are suspected. Both does not sound unlikely but not yet confirmed. Until the release of the Galaxy Note 6 and thus to the final details, we will probably have to wait a little to us. The phablet is expected to appear in the summer - and then perhaps run with Android N.
