"God of War 4" is apparently at least partly located in Norse mythology surrounding Odin, Loki and Co.. According to Geek.com This is illustrated by an extensive photo-leak for the game. Already on April 4, the perfectly acceptable Games leaker Shinobi602 had in a Tweet indicated a setting with the "Halls of Valhalla".

The website NerdLeaks thereupon to some research and discovered on the site of a former employee of Sony Santa Monica numerous concept images that are to belong to "God of War 4". In a graph, a figure with the typical red back tattoo of Kratos is evident. However NerdLeaks used obviously something improper means to get at the pictures - these were namely apparently stored in a password-protected area of the website. NerdLeaks is now offline, remember that the corresponding Twitter account has been deleted. As the Internet but never forgets the images found still on the platform NeoGAF.
Remains open, of course, if the pictures really are related to "God of War 4". Another possibility would be a completely different PS4 game or simply a concept that was not pursued. Officially Sony has announced no new "God of War" part. That could change at E3 2016, however. The release may then take place along with a revised PlayStation 4K.
