Lumia 950 XL: Microsoft provides examples of the photo quality

In a few weeks, the Lumia 950 will appear XL - to increase the anticipation, Microsoft has released some photos. This does not show about the smartphone itself, but have been incorporated with the rear camera.

For camera tests with the Lumia 950 XL, it is still too early, but has Juha Alakarhu, responsible for smartphone cameras at Microsoft, now published some sample photos. On the Windows Blog, he has four photos uploaded, give an insight into the quality of the camera. Of course, the company wants to show its best side here and it is unclear how the results might look in everyday life. This first impression, however, is promising.

The photos were shot with a prototype of the Lumia 950 XL and keep in mind that Microsoft benefited from Nokia's PureView technology. Installed in the smart phone is a sensor with 20 megapixel BSI, an aperture value with the F1.9, a triple LED flash and an optical image stabilizer - the maximum ISO value is 12,800. In addition, the camera captures video in 4K resolution.

The Lumia 950 XL is the larger version of the Lumia 950. Both devices Microsoft has presented together with the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book on 6 October. The release of the two smartphones to take place on 10 November.
